On Fridays and Saturdays we now offer complimentary, informative winery tours. The tours are given by Dr. Russ Balda, North America’s leading ornithologist. Recognized internationally for his ground breaking research study on the Arizona Pinyon Jay, Dr Balda retired and traded in his birds for berries. Along with wife Judith a retired educator born and raised in Arizona, the Balda’s enthusiasm for fine wine and all things related has enhanced the Javelina Leap Vineyard & Winery experience.Nothing like having your own resident professor with a passion for wine!
