Grand Opening Wild Thyme Restaurant in Sedona

Wild Thyme Restaurant Group opened up two restaurants in the Los Abrigados Resort. Spoke and Wheel Tavern and Timo wood oven wine bar both opened up in the beginning of February 2014.

Spoke and Wheel is a bicycle themed tavern and eatery featuring in house dry aged steaks, burgers, salads and local microbrews. The restaurant and bar boasts over 20 televisions and shows most sporting events.

Timo wood oven and wine bar features 8 Arizona wines on tap and a wine list of over 50 varietals from around the world. All the food is prepared in a wood oven and they burn pecan wood. The menu features items such as Red curry lamb shank, ostrich meatballs, steak tartar and roasted lemon chicken.

Wild Thyme is also catering all weddings and events at Los Abrigados and is planning to offer holiday brunches at the beautiful creek side location at the resort.

Chef Mercer Mohr and Heinrich Stasiuk, the same owners who brought you Creekside Restaurant, formerly known as Ken’s Creekside, established Wild Thyme Group in 2009.

Stasiuk says that they love the Sedona area and being locals for the past 5 years they are planning to open more exciting restaurants in Sedona.
